I have been carrying a camera into wild places since my first backpacking trip in 1976. I really enjoy exploring our area parks and also my own backyard.  Many times, I will re-visit the same location to get just the right light or weather conditions. 

I also look forward to canoe/photography trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in northern Minnesota.  One of my favorite parts of wilderness paddling is seeing what is around the corner of the next portage trail, lake or river!
