August 2025 - My son-in-law Josh and 14 year old grandsons Joel and Caleb made a 6-day canoe trip to the Boundary Waters. This was their 5th trip up North - and my 59th. We entered at Missing Link (on the Gunflint side) and paddled through Round, Missing Link, Snipe, Cross Bay Lake and Ham lakes. We only had about 30 minutes of rain the entire week! Also, we had 4 fish meals of northern and small mouth bass. For the first time, Josh used a hammock instead of tent and it worked out well for him.
On Snipe Lake, we saw a moose while on a fishing daytrip!
